Innovation Readiness Sprint
The Innovation Readiness Sprint. One challenge. Ideas with legs.
Most idea workshops end with a wall of sticky notes and a nice group photo. Ours ends with the ideas your team actually believes in, an honest look at what could stop them, and a name and a date next to every next step.
Sound like you?
“We keep doing what worked five years ago.”
“The best ideas in our team never make it past the coffee machine.”
“We tried something new once. It quietly faded.”
“We’re growing, and suddenly nobody knows who can say yes.”
“We need fresh ideas, but we can’t disappear for a two-day offsite.”
How it flows
01
Warm up and frame
Inbox off. Your challenge becomes a few sharp “How might we…” questions, and the team picks the one worth chasing.
02
Discover
Ideas alone first, then together: constraint cards, worst-possible-idea rounds, quick-fire sketching.
03
Build and back
Combine ideas into concepts, pitch them fast, and invest play money in the ones worth backing.
04
What would kill it?
The premortem game: a year from now, the idea is gone. What killed it? Time, approvals, risk, skills, unwritten rules?
05
Names and dates
Small first tests, one owner, one date, one visible sign of progress per action. Then awards and a group photo.
From “someone should” to “Sarah will, by Friday.”
What you take home
- The ideas your team believes in, chosen and backed by the people who’ll carry them
- A clear picture of what’s in the way, in your team’s own words
- An action plan with one owner, one date and one visible sign of progress per action
- A photo story of the day, ready to share with everyone who wasn’t there
- Automated check-ins, so the plan doesn’t end up in a drawer
- Optional: a Test & Learn session a month later
Why it works
- Quiet first, loud later. People think better alone before they build together, so the quiet ones get heard too.
- Games with a job. Every game exists to spark more ideas, braver ideas or a clear choice. They’re fun, but never just fun.
- Honesty made safe. Imagining failure makes it easy to say what usually stays unsaid.
- Your answers, not ours. Every idea and every action comes from your team. That’s why they get done.
Before the day
A short call to agree on one real challenge, who should be in the room, and what success looks like. Everyone answers two quick questions beforehand. That’s it.
The practical bits
- Format
- Shaped around your challenge: one focused session on site, or shorter sessions online
- Group
- Up to about 15 people per facilitator; larger groups with a second facilitator
- Where
- Your office, a room we find together, or online. Based in Innsbruck; travel costs agreed in advance
- Language
- English or German
- Price
- Founding-client price for the first three companies
