Have you ever been challenged to step outside your comfort zone and test your personal limitations?
That’s exactly how the story of ConnEcht begins. During my internship, I got involved in Carinthia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and developed an even stronger drive to build my own business one day. But as a fresh graduate, I carried a heavy bucket of self-doubt. How could I be relatable? Who would listen to me?
Thanks to a support system of friends and mentors, I pushed through the worry and joined the 2025/2026 KWF Vor.Gründung cohort. It has been a crazy rollercoaster. The product idea shifted a dozen times as I fought to align market needs with my own values.
I’ll be honest: it was (is) a messy, unsure process. But through that mess, one thing became crystal clear: The way we work is broken.
As a member of Gen-Z, I’ve witnessed how work is done today, and I’ve seen the burnout it causes. We spend over half of our lives at work. Why are we settling for “surviving” the week, instead of taking ownership and creating value? I realized that my competitive advantage is my perspective. I see how my generation and like-minded innovative people think. We don’t want to be executors; we want to be creators.
How many times has a new initiative been pushed on you from the top, even though your expertise told you there was a better way? Did someone listen to you? Way too often, initiatives are pushed from the top down, ignoring the expertise of the people. Change and innovation are driven by the people; without engaged, collaborative teams, innovation becomes slow and expensive.
ConnEcht was created to flip the script. We are here to replace top-down pressure with bottom-up ownership. We believe that growth is organic, and innovation is a byproduct of an engaged, intrapreneurial culture. We don’t just build tools; we design the environment where your team becomes your greatest competitive advantage.
